- General information
Retro Pakhuis is an on-line gallery and a warehouse. The gallery sells used furniture and lighting. Retro Pakhuis is run by Agata Chróścicka van Dijk.
Orders can be placed by phone or e-mail. Contact details are available on the Retro Pakhuis website. By placing an order, you accept the following regulations.
The term of validity of the order when paying by bank transfer is 7 days from the date of its submission. If the Buyer does not pay 100% of the agreed amount to the indicated account number within the above-mentioned period, the order will be canceled.
In the case of furniture imported or restored to order, we charge a 30% advance payment.
Payment can be made by bank transfer to the account number provided or in cash upon personal collection. We accept also Pay Pal.
- Fulfillment of orders
We send the purchased item within 14 days to the address provided by e-mail. Pickup in person is also possible after prior appointment by phone or e-mail.
At the customer's request, we send the bill. The second hand products are VAT exempt.
- Shipping costs
The cost and method of shipping are determined individually. The prices assigned to the product do not include shipping costs. The cost of transport is covered by the Buyer unless the parties decide otherwise.
- Complaints and returns
The buyer has the right to file a complaint about the purchased goods. Complaints are considered within 14 days of their notification at the latest. If the complaint is accepted, the damaged goods will be restored to their original condition or replaced with full value. If this is not possible, the equivalent of the purchase price will be refunded together with transport costs within 14 days from the date of return shipment.
A damage report signed by the recipient and the supplier of the shipment is required to consider complaints for mechanical damage caused during transport. At the time of receipt, the Buyer is obliged to check the condition of the shipment. If it is damaged, the Buyer is obliged to report this fact to the supplier, draw up a damage report and contact the Seller.
In accordance with the Act of May 14, 2014 "On consumer rights" (Journal of Laws of 2014, item 827), the customer may cancel the purchased goods without giving any reason within 14 days from the date of receipt of the parcel, based on a written statement sent to Retro Pakhuis address.
The condition for accepting the return is receipt of the purchased item in an unchanged condition. No signs of use or damage. The reimbursement of the price in accordance with the order, will be made within 14 days of receiving the return shipment. The cost of transporting the return shipment is covered by the Buyer.
Goods that have been prepared by the Seller on the Customer's individual request (goods prepared according to the Buyer's guidelines, e.g. with an individual color of wood or upholstery) are not returnable.
Buyers' personal data are used only for the execution of orders and are not transferred to third parties. The gallery undertakes to protect personal data in accordance with the Act of August 29, 1997 on the protection of personal data. Pursuant to this act, the Buyer agrees to the storage and processing of this data for marketing and record-keeping purposes only for the purposes of the Gallery. The buyer has the right to inspect his data, to correct it and to request the cessation of its use.
- The competent court for any disputes arising from the sales contract concluded between the Seller and the Buyer who is not a consumer is the court competent for the seat of the Seller. This provision does not apply to contracts concluded with consumers. In disputes arising in relations with consumers, the court having jurisdiction is the seat of the defendant or the place of performance of the contract.
